An administration fee (currently less than $1.00 per week per member) is paid by ACIRT to our external administrator ‘Australian Administration Services’.
These fees are deducted from fund income. As a result, no administration fee is charged to Participating Employers or Members. The only exception to this rule is where a member requests their redundancy benefit be paid by electronic fund transfer into their nominated financial institution (bank account, building society etc).If this option is taken, members are charged a small fee.
ACIRT pays Director's fees of $2,500 per meeting to each respective sponsor (employer organisation or trade union) to compensate these organisations for their employee’s time in managing ACIRT.
